Our Autism Friendly screenings are adapted in a variety of ways to help reduce anxiety and overstimulation and ensure a safe, enjoyable cinema experience for people with autism, and their families, friends and carers. Autism Friendly Screenings are on the third Sunday of the month at 10.30.

BAPP Saturday Clubs

We run two Saturday Clubs as part of the Short Breaks Term time contract open to all children who meet the eligibility criteria for Short Breaks. See BAPP website. One for primary age children and one for secondary. All our staff are experienced at working with children with disabilities and additional needs, including complex needs and many work in Special Schools full time.

Bath Area Play Project - Teenage Rampage

Teenage Rampage is a weekly social group for young people aged 12/13+ with SEND and part of the Short Breaks Space for Me Partnership. The evening youth group is led by an experienced practitioner who has worked with disabled young people for many years including those with complex needs.

Bath Frame Running Club
Frame Running consists of participants sitting on a tricycle-like frame, who are strapped around their torso, and who use their feet instead of pedals to walk or run. It is a sport for people with lower body mobility issues.

Bath Mencap Society is a local charity supporting all local people with learning disabilities, their families and carers, in Bath and the surrounding areas.

Bath Mencap and Gateway Sports Club

FREE sports available for people with learning difficulties aged 14 and over including adults, and their families/carers. Bath MENCAP and Gateway Sports Club meet every Thursday at the sports centre and always welcome new members.
